   ![Anthony DeBlasi’s research focuses on the intellectual and institutional history of China from the seventh to the thirteenth century. He is the author of Reform in the Balance: The Defense of Literary Culture in Mid-Tang China (State University of New York Press, 2002) and participated in the translation of the Zhenguan zhengyao (the Essentials of Governance published by Cambridge University Press, 2020).
